Dj Quartz’ Traktor Pro Mapping für Numark’s NS7 (mit Platter-Unterstützung)

Native Instrumentslässt sich ziemlich viel Zeit mit der Untersützung von Numark’s NS7. Während sich die Meisten in der Zwischenzeit mit Serato’s Itch begnügen versuchen Andere ihren geliebten Controller fit für Traktor Pro zu machen. DJ Quartz ist Einer davon und hat hart gearbeitet um die bisher beste Mapping-Datei erstellt für das NS7.

MuckeTrotz der ganzen Schwächen und Probleme mit dem Mapping habe ich ein kleines Video gemacht um euch zu zeigen, was im Moment so möglich ist. Bitte erspart euch den Ärger und nutzt es nur zum Testen. Beachtet außerdem, dass die motorisierten Plattenteller seit Version 1.24 von Traktor Pro nicht mehr funktioniert. In dem Video verwende ich die ältere Version 1.23. Am besten schaut ihr euch das Video in HD an.

Funktionen

Mixersektion funktioniert vollständig
Dateibrowsing-Sektion funktioniert vollständig
die meisten Loop-Funktionen sind implementiert
die Transport-Funktionen, einschließlich die Cue-Buttons
HID-pitch-fader und pitch-bend funktionieren
Plattenteller funktionieren (nur bis Traktion Version 1.23)
Start- und Stopp-Zeit und Rückwärts-abspielen funktionieren

bekannte Probleme

Bleep funktioniert nicht
Die Strip-Suche ist oft ungenau

bei Nutzung der Plattenteller:

bei bestimmten Aktionen bremst die Wiedergabe kurz ab
Cue-Punkte sind unzuverlässlich wenn sich nicht der jeweilige Plattenteller dreht
Wenn beide Plattenteller laufen, dann ist der Pitch immer bei 0%
Die Plattenteller müssen bei jedem Traktor-Start neu gemapped werden
Start Zeit Änderungen funktionieren unzuverlässlich
Den Motor eines Plattenteller auszustellen führzt zum Stoppen der Wiedergabe

Native Instruments surely takes its time to officially support Numark’s NS7. While most users are content with Serato Itch in the meantime, others strive for the ability to use their beloved Controller in Traktor Pro. DJ Quartz is one of them and he has been working hard to create the best Mapping-File out there.

NOTE: You will need to use Traktor version 1.2.3, there was a change in 1.2.4 that broke the modifier which behaves as a switch for the platter control function.

Hopefully it will be resolved in the next update.
